Anxiety is an extremely common problem which is extremely important to first realise when you think about how it affects you in your day to day life. Just knowing that you are not the only one that feels threatened by certain scenarios or that people really are not focused on you can ease the tension immediately and open your mind up to coping with anxiety and leading a life that you may not think is possible at present. Anxiety is caused by both physiological and psychological reactions to certain perceived situations. It is more than likely that at some point in your life you have been in a situation that has caused your body to release an excess of adrenalin. This adrenalin is used by the body to communicate to the brain that it should be scared, excited or strong. However, if the adrenalin is not used properly and the levels are too high in relation to the circumstance panic set in even if danger is not imminent.
